Bigady is essentially a site for users to submit ideas for others to rank. Members can leave comments or feedback on ideas as well. Ideas may be related to anything. There are no limits on topics.
Bigady was launched in 2010.
There is no actual implementation of ideas. This is simply a forum for users to put ideas out for others to view and comment on. Some are ridiculous and posted only for humorous purposes. Bigady promotes itself as a ‘think tank’, but appears to be a forum with a few added features for feedback.
To add an idea, users complete a form with title, category, and description including three tags. To provide feedback on an idea, users may click on the idea, read the description and click ‘bigady’ for positive, or ‘boo’ for negative. Comments may be added and users may also connect intensedebate, wordpress, Facebook, Twitter, or OpenID.
Several posted ideas are interesting, but many are ludicrous. There is seemingly no value to the site other than throwing out ideas and hoping for comments on them.
There are icons of happy faces as well as clocks with exclamation points and arrows in opposing directions, but none of these is explained anywhere on the site. All help files and other site information is contained in the same “idea” format.
Users must provide a first and last name, username, email address, and password.
Bigady is free to use.
This website seems to be purely for entertainment purposes. Anyone having idea that they would like to put forward for others to review or comment on can post it here in hopes of productive feedback. There is no follow up on the ideas.
